Effortless Cleanser: Radiant Glow is a non-foaming, non-stripping gentle facial cleanser that effectively removes daily pollutants, excess oil, and full makeup and sunscreen while hydrating, nourishing, moisturizing and supporting a healthy skin barrier. The light, creamy gel-like consistency leaves skin soft, nourished, and refreshed.

This Cleanser is a delicately blended combination of whole plant extracts, teas, hydrosols, oils and honey – all working together to not only cleanse the skin but also soften, plump and restore.  California grown Calendula and Rose Geranium help to tone and refine, paired with Rose, Rosehip and Myrrh resin to repair.

Ingredients

Rose – We utilize a rare White Rose in this formula, organically cultivated for impactful environmental sustainability. Rose is gentle, hydrating, soothing and protective, as well as plumping and firming to the skin.

Calendula – Calendula two ways; in Hydrosol form as well as a whole plant extraction. Calendula is ideal for cleansing by encouraging cellular turnover, regeneration and improving anti-inflammatory pathways.

Burdock and Dandelion Root – This in-house Root decoction assists in cleansing and detoxing by carrying away impurities and cellular waste.

Honey – Our small-batch, raw California Honey has enzymatic action that helps with gentle and healthy cell turnover.

Safflower and Sunflower – Our two favorite raw and freshly pressed seed oils for cleansing are in perfect balance here to decongest pores and minimize their appearance by attaching to our own oxidized oils so they can be easily wiped away.

Directions

Moisten face and hands with water. Pump a dime size amount (3-6 pumps) into fingertips. Massage well onto skin, especially around congested areas or around eyes for makeup removal. Remove with a warm towel. Using a warm towel for cleanser removal will easily remove makeup or sunscreen; cleanse twice for heavy makeup. For initial use: SHAKE WELL. This facial cleanser may need to be shaken occasionally to strengthen natural emulsion.

Store this product in a cool, dry and dark place. Use within 6 months of opening and use within 1 year from the manufacture date, which is noted on the bottom of the bottle.

With our favorite cleansing oils like Sesame, Safflower and Sunflower, this Cleanser offers an immediate reduction in pore visibility and brightens and evens skin tone with a whole plant Turmeric extract. Essential oils in this blend, such as Ylang Ylang and Neroli, have an immediate relaxing effect on the nervous system, further supporting this beauty ritual by soothing the mind and spirit. With other powerhouse regenerative ingredients like Calendula, Tamanu, and Rosemary our Oil Cleanser boosts circulation for both blood and lymph, reducing stagnation and inflammation for a deeper detox.

Ingredients

Rosemary – Growing in abundance in our California home, this hearty plant medicine stimulates circulation and lymphatic flow, while releasing facial muscle tension to detox on a deeper level.

Directions

This Oil Cleanser can be used daily on some skin types, but for most we suggest it be used as a weekly or bi-weekly deep cleansing ritual. Dispense 3-4 pumps onto fingertips and apply to dry skin. Massage well for 1-5 minutes around congested areas and makeup. Apply a warm, steamy towel to the skin and gently wipe away dirt, makeup, and excess oil. Repeat towel compressions on the face, neck and chest 1-2 more times to stimulate deeper cleansing pathways, relieve muscular tension, and to ensure complete removal.

This product may be too stimulating for those with a compromised or damaged skin barrier.

Support Cleanser: Cool Relief is a calming, gel-like emulsion that gently removes daily pollutants, excess oil, makeup and sunscreen, and effectively detoxifies congested or breakout prone skin. This non-foaming and non-stripping facial cleanser is ideal to soothe red, irritated, or inflamed skin.

This Cleanser is feather light with an instant cooling effect on inflamed, acneic skin. It is also ideal for sun damaged skin or reactive skin in need of soothing support, while still encouraging detox and decongesting. It combines multiple Chamomile varieties, Calendula, Licorice, Lavender, and raw Honey all for calming in order to promote optimal skin health. Inflammation should always be the first symptom addressed in any situation where the skin is in a state of stress. The light oils of Sunflower and Safflower are our favorites for dissolving blackheads and oxidized sebum in pores. This multitasker does all of the above, while hydrating and keeping our lipid barrier intact and healthy.

Ingredients

German + Roman Chamomile – Organically farmed and harvested exclusively for Laurel in the Pacific Northwest, both variations of Chamomile are cooling and soothing to irritated and problem skin.

Grapefruit and Blood Orange – Non-photosensitizing Citrus oils are ideal for balancing the skin’s natural oil production, and make for a refreshing cleanse. These oils are distilled fresh for Laurel by an artisan distiller in California.

Hydrating Elixir I: Phytonutrient Replenish is a combination of deeply hydrating, nutrient and antioxidant dense whole plants that is an essential step in keeping skin looking plump, dewy and glowing. It is a hydrating mist/serum combination, made of artisan distilled single-farm hydrosols, along with a combination of house made whole plant extracts and whole plant extracts made by local herbalists. This Elixir is incredibly rich in polysaccharides, B vitamins, enzymes, bioflavonoids, polyphenols, resveratrol, vitamin C, and plant humectants that mimic hyaluronic acid. This microflora balancing Elixir is good for all skin types, but is best suited to dry, mature, sensitive, reactive and rosacea symptoms.

Formula Update: Formerly our Normal/Mature Elixir. If you are seeking a product that smells like Rose hydrosol, then this may not be right for you. While Rose is still present and dominant in this formula, roots, barks, mushrooms and resin have been added or increased in quantity in order to make this formula more deeply hydrating, restorative, and diverse with beneficial plant compounds. Rose Geranium – Our Biodynamic® Rose Geranium Hydrosol from California is an extraordinary gem. Rose Geranium is strengthening and repairing to broken capillaries, as well as balancing to oil production, pH levels, and our microbiomes.

Calendula – Find both Calendula Hydrosol and a whole plant Calendula extract in this Elixir, in order to fully capture each medicinal compound within this powerhouse plant. Calendula is a powerful humectant that helps our skin retain its hydration and retain a supple glow. Calendula is a true tonic for our individual cell health, and can restore skin health like no other.

Astragalus – Astragalus has been closely studied for its ability to strengthen and repair telomeres, which are responsible for cellular aging. Telomere repair is essentially DNA repair. Astragalus is also anti-inflammatory, stimulates surface immunity, and supports connective tissue health.

Helichrysum – Grown in the Pacific Northwest and artisan distilled, our Helichrysum Hydrosol is no doubt powerful medicine. Cooling and soothing Helichrysum is deeply regenerative to the skin by restoring health and vitality on a cellular level.
